Begin by pairing the Bridge with HomeKit. Once paired, any devices you add to HomeKit will automatically appear in the Home app within 1–3 minutes after the Bridge restarts—no re-pairing required. Feel free to assign the new HomeKit devices to any room you prefer.
The HomeHome.App Bridge allows you to control your eWeLink devices through Apple HomeKit. This bridge acts as a translator between eWeLink's protocol and HomeKit, enabling native iOS control of your devices.
If your Bridge is already paired with HomeKit, simply restart the Bridge, and any newly added devices will appear in the Home app within 1–2 minutes.
To quickly set up your Bridge, first pair the bridge with the Home app. Then, select the eWeLink devices you want to add and restart the Bridge to complete the process.
Q: How many devices can I add?
A: Technically, it is possible to add up to 144 devices; however, each system will have its own limitations depending on the device types and quantities. You can add as many devices as you like as long as the Bridge's memory does not drop below 50KB.
An alternative solution is to connect the same eWeLink account to two different Google accounts, allowing you to use a second Bridge. For the second Bridge, simply sign in with a different Google account.
Q: Will my devices work without internet?
A: No, the bridge requires internet connection to communicate with eWeLink servers.
Q: Do I need to keep the eWeLink app?
A: No, once devices are added to HomeKit, you can control them directly through the Home app. However, we recommend keeping the eWeLink app to access additional features such as inch mode, energy consumption monitoring, detailed device information, and sharing devices with other users.
Q: What happens if my credits expire?
A: Devices will remain in HomeKit but won't respond to commands until credits are renewed.
