Install the firmware
From a bare board to Apple Home in 8 steps. Installing HomeHome.App firmware is free: you flash it from your browser in about two minutes, then set it up from your phone.
8 steps
Plug in the board
Connect the board to your computer with a USB data cable.
Some cables only charge. If your computer does not see the board, try another cable first.
Open the flasher for your board
Use the buttons above, in Chrome or Edge on a Windows, macOS or Linux computer.
Flashing uses Web Serial – phones, tablets, Safari and Firefox cannot flash a board.
Click Connect and pick the port
Choose your board's port in the list that pops up.
Not in the list? Try another USB cable or port. Still nothing? Install the USB driver for the chip printed next to the USB socket: CP210x or CH340.
Click Install
Wait until it says it is done – 1 to 2 minutes.
Stuck on "Connecting…"? Hold the BOOT button on the board while it connects, then let go. On some boards: hold BOOT, plug in the USB cable, then release it.
Restart it and join its Wi-Fi
Unplug the board and plug it in again. From your phone, join the setup Wi-Fi

Every device starts in demo mode by itself – the Bridge for 24 hours, other devices usually for 10 to 20 on/off changes. To keep it working, buy Maker Credits and write your Gmail address in the order note. When we have added the credits, restart the device.
