How it works

Four steps, from board to Home app.

STEP 1

Get the board for your device from any local shop: ESP32 DOIT DevKit, Wemos D1 R32 or D1 Mini ESP32 for the Bridge, ESP32 DOIT DevKit for Water Level Control, NodeMCU LoLin V3 for Castle Black and Relay & Shutter.

STEP 2

Flash it in your browser.

Plug the board in over USB, open the right flasher in Chrome or Edge on your computer and click Install. About two minutes – nothing to download or install.

STEP 3

Connect it and pair it.

Join the board's HomeHome Wi-Fi from your phone (password homehome), enter your home Wi-Fi and your Gmail address, then add it in the Home app with the code 111-88-111.

STEP 4

Activate and control.

Get Maker Credits and write your Gmail address in the order note. Then use your devices in the Home app – with Siri, scenes and automations.

The firmware is free. Maker Credits switch it on. Each device uses a set number of credits; add them up for all your devices. The minimum is 10.

Can I try it before I buy?

Do you ship any hardware?

No. HomeHome.App sells Maker Credits (firmware activation) only. You buy a compatible ESP32 or ESP8266 board in your own country and install our free firmware from your browser.

Which browsers can flash the board?

Chrome or Edge on a Windows, macOS or Linux computer. Phones, tablets, Safari and Firefox cannot flash the board.

Does it work with Apple Home and Google Home?

All HomeHome.App devices work with Apple Home. Water Level Control and Relay & Shutter can also be added to Google Home. HomeHome.App is an independent product and is not certified by Apple or Google.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to your account › Dashboard › Subscriptions and cancel the renewal. Your credits stay active until the end of the period you paid for.
